Working With Woven Fabric

This year textile students will be working with woven (non-stretch) fabrics.   We will be starting out making a handbag or gym bag. (Due January 31) Our next project will be pajamas (please have supplies here by January 31 so you do not waste valuable time in between projects. 

Here are some links to some suggested patterns, OR you could propose another pattern to me BEFORE you buy the supplies.  The elements you should be looking for are: a collar, buttons/button holes, and a pocket.  Sleeve lengths can vary and students can choose either pj pants or shorts.
